Collection and use of data

As is the practice on most websites, we store HTTP requests directed to our server. This means that we know the public IP addresses from which users access content on our website. The viewed content is identified via URLs. We also know:

  • the time of receipt of the request,
  • the time of the reply,
  • the name of the client station – identification is carried out using the HTTP protocol,
  • information about errors that occurred during the HTTP transaction,
  • the URL address of the page that the user has previously visited – in the event that the user has accessed a page on our website via a link,
  • Information about the user’s browser.

The above data cannot be assigned to specific persons who visit our website. In order to ensure the highest quality of the service, we analyze the log files to determine whether the structure of the website contains no errors, which sub-pages are accessed most frequently, etc.

Collected log files are stored indefinitely as an aid to administering the service. The information contained therein will not be passed on to anyone, except to persons who are authorized to administer the server. On this basis, statistics can be created to support the administration. Collective statements in the form of statistics do not contain any data that identify the visitor to the service.

Cookies mechanism

The website uses cookies, i.e. computer data, in particular text files, which are stored by servers on the end user’s device and which can be read by the servers every time the end user connects to the device.

Cookies are used in particular for the following purposes:

  • Creation of statistics that will help you understand how you use the website, which allows you to improve its structure and content;
  • Changes to the layout or version of the website, which enables the website to be displayed in a way that is tailored to your individual needs (e.g. font size, layout, colors);
  • Storage of session data (after logging in so that you do not have to re-enter your login and password on every subpage of the website. This file expires after the session is ended);
  • Displaying advertising content or running marketing campaigns.

Cookies are also used by services to which our website refers, e.g. when displaying multimedia. In particular, this may include cookies that enable you to log in or provide you with advertising that matches your preferences.

Change of cookie settings

By default, web browsers allow cookies to be stored on the user’s device. You can change your cookie settings at any time. In particular, you can set your Internet browser so that it blocks the automatic setting of cookies on your device or informs you each time that cookies are set on your device.

You can change the conditions for storing or receiving cookies by changing the settings of your web browser:

If you do not change the settings for cookies, this means that they will be set on your device and we will therefore save information on your device and have access to this information.

Deactivating cookies can lead to difficulties in using some services on the website.
